Foodscales, Fitness and More

I bought a new food scale. My first digital one. Does anyone use food scales.
I had a pretty metal one but it broke and I gave my cheapy plastic one to my sister.
I bought two new fitness DVDs one cost just a buck.

Hey iPortion! If I were living on my own /living in a situation where I did the majority of the cooking, then I would use a food scale. At the moment, my Mum does most of the cooking and won't let anyone near the kitchen often enough to get a decent head up of steam cooking-wise, so there's really no point in me owning one yet. I will do eventually though!

Which Fitness DVDs did you get?

And thank you for your lovely reminder! It really put a smile on my dial :-D

After my very first WW meeting I went to a Crate and Barrel and bought a white flat digital scale. It doesn't come with a bowl, but I LOVE it. I use it almost every day. My husband and I both use it regularly!! One of the best things I ever bought.

I have an old regular type one and don't use it and couldn't guess where it is!! I eyeball my portions or use measuring cups sometimes. I think I'll look into that digital one, sounds good.

I have a food scale and it comes in handy when you really want to know your portion sizes. I periodically pull it out when I need a refresher course in portion sizes.

I plan to use mine for portion sizes as well as for cooking. Some dishes I plan to make are done by weight.
I had loads of fun today I weighed choclolte chips :-) for my husbands frozen yogurt but they ended up not being used. I can't weight to try the yogurt out.
