About My Weight Loss

About My Weight Loss
VH Melville
Faq: Weight Lost: I lost over 100 pounds. My WW weight was 234.8 my current weight is 119. My goal weight is 124 to 126. I had lost 17 pounds before that but it was labor so I am not sure it counts/

Faq : Maintenance My weight bounces instead of straight maintain.
I use my maintenance points to keep it off when I gain a little I go done two points when I loose a little much I go up two points. I reward myself for good behavior.
Faq: I’ve been on maintained since late October of 2005. I made lifetime in December of 2005. I know there will be some ups and downs if I have another child. Usually I start gaining within weeks of hitting goal.
This is the longest I’ve maintained.
I know I can gain all my weight back if I am not careful. Even though I hit goal I still journal. Eating healthy doesn’t teach you to eat like a thin person. A lot of people think they never have to journal after they goal and are surprised when the weight comes back. Not to be too graphic, but I’ve seen the puss filled holes in my late grandmother’s legs. One leg had to be amputated. I also know that I am the influence to my family. How can my family be healthy if I am not?
Faq: I did not have a weight problem until I was around 10.

Thank you for posting this. I find your advice very helpful and I was just always wondering what your "weight loss story" was. You are right...it is very easy to gain back. I am living proof of that(unfortunately). I think the key is not quitting. Keep up the good work!

I've quit so many times after I hit goal it wasn't funny. This time I knew I had to keep going and I feel I still must work at it or gain it all back.

Congratulations! That's such a huge accomplishment. I'm sure you could keep it off with unfaltering attitude, great music, and exercise. For me daily exercise is key to not wanting to eat too much. Best of luck continuing with your healthy habits.

WOW! That's very impressive and inspiring. I find when I journal I am not only eating healthy, but feeling good and losing or maintaining. I hit goal last summer, but after I got married I gained it all back. I am back where I started and not very happy about it. It seems harder this time because I don't have this great goal like getting married to work towards. I'm still at a healthy weight, but I'm not at my goal weight. Thanks for posting...it was very inspiring!

Felicitaions to you! Nothing motivates like a good successs story. I've seen a lot of diet blogs and yours is high ranking. I put you in my favorites. Thanks for the visit to my humble site and leaving a comment. They are few and far between but that is not what I blog for. I put myself out there to ensure my commitment and look back on how not to make the same mistakes again. You know sometimes when people lose their intended weight they forget to lose the fat mentality. Bless you.

Think of the Fat. I hate when comps eat my post. It happens to me all the time grrrr. Thank you for being supportive.
I wasn’t online when you posted. I have to moderate my posts due to a particular spammer he/she won’t give up LOL. There sho.uld be a yellow line that tells you I will post when I get online

Chester: I have a system for zero point as well nothing is zero to me unless it’s fresh or frozen veggies, lemon juice, vinegar, diet soda, and sugar substitute. I am a binge eater and WW allowing zero point foods don’t work for me.

I always love hearing from you.
I've gained it all back and more when I did my first healthy diet at 17.
Fad diets never really worked for me. I gained it back because I decided to take a break from it.
Now allow mistakes there are some days I go over but I have to count it and it really helps with my binging.
I had a binge the other day on carrots and crystal light. I always count the crystal light but decided to count the carrots as .4 because it was a binge

Thanks from me, too, for posting the facts about your journey. Indeed, you are very inspiring and supportive to me, and I appreciate your stops to comment on my blog. (It's so good to have such a devoted supporter!) Thank you! I am struggling with low morale this month, and I can't seem to find that upbeat, optimistic place I was when I started. I haven't gone backwards on the weight, and I don't understand why, because I haven't been eating properly; but it's my "tude" that is suffering right now. You story helps. Thanks for sharing it! Thanks for your wisdom and encouragement!

Blessings to you!

You are an inspiration! I journal a lot too and track everything I eat -- I lost over 100 pounds two years ago and gained it all and more back. This time though -- I am going to loose it and keep it off.
