What Eating Plan Are You On?

What Eating Plan Are You On?
VH Melville
It’s rainy here and I don’t know if I should go out or stay in. The only exercise I can do is march in place or do Pilates without a DVD. I have no access to my equipment for while. I feel like being lazy today. I feel like going back to bed and pulling the covers over my head. I woke up in the middle of the night. I always want to eat more when I am tired. I guess I am trying to replace rest energy with food energy.
I built this blog for people on many different plans. I wonder what plan is everyone. I wanted this blog not just to be about me but about the readers.
I am on a modified weight watchers flex plan or WW for short. I am still on it after I goal but I get more maintenance points. My maintenance points are more than some less than others.
This is the time to brag and explain your diet for others.
What eating plan are you on? Is it WW, slow carb, low carb, the zone, Tops, Deal a Meal, Jenny Craig, Shangri La Diet, or other?
When did you start your plan?
Are you doing it on your own, online or through meetings?
Are you planning to continue after you goal?
What makes you like your diet?
What about your diet do you wish you could change, if anything?

i'm on WW flexpoints as well.
I love the flexibility of it but i think that it gives me the chance to make bad choices.
I'm working really hard to change that for myself and to stay within points
so far its working!

I started on Lite n' Easy and lost 7 kilos on it...but then I got bored with it so now I'm just trying to stick to healthy eating. Since it's winter time, I'm having fun trying to make soup (I so can't cook!). My diet usually consists of muesli for breakfast, chicken & salad for dinner, chicken/meat, potato & vegies for dinner. Rather boring, really. I also try to drink 2 litres of water a day (struggling big time with this one!) but if I really feel like chocolate one day, then I'll have it. But only a small chocky bar which I'll probably have once or twice a week. If I have that chocolate, then I find I don't binge eat on the weekend because I'm 'allowed' to have it anyway. I also find I eat more on the days I go to the gym, so I try to stick to healthier choices on those days, but sometimes get slack. I'm still trying to figure it all out, really.

Okay, enough blabbing... :)

I started with WW, then tried Herbalife (which was great in the short term and in Summer, but not something you can keep up for the rest or your life), and now I am using Sparkpeople to count calories.

Its been a great way to tell how much it takes to go overboard and how to get better value out of my calories. :D

Yeah so, Hi, I'm Becca! I noticed that you posted on my site - so I came to check yours out.

I'm currently doing a modified version of WeightWatchers. My sister actually paid and did the course a few years back, and quit. But she has all the books and such and so around Feb/06 I took a good look at them and decided to give it a shot. I was already trying to eat healthier by this point, but figured I could use a kinda routine or something - ya know?

So, I started around then offically, doing it on my own and just looking up my daily pnt values and such. Since then, I've lost about 40 - 50lbs and by my Bday in January I would like to loose another 50lbs - fingers crossed.

I love this plan because it really honestly is about changing the way you eat, the way you look at food and yourself - and I feel like i can still be myself, have what I want and it doesn't feel like a diet. It feels like I'm eating properly, which was my first and major concern when wanting to loose weight.

I'm not sure what keeps me on my diet, or why suddenly, this time around is different than all the others - it just is. I suppose something finally clicked all on it's own and I wanted to feel better, look better and be someone different. And so, that's what I'm trying to do - be a better me.

Anyway, this was long. Sorry for ranting. Heh. Peace!

Marshmallow "What a cute name" My mom is counting calories to now which is a lot better
than the old diet she was on.
digitalGoobie Hi Becca! I will have my fingers crossed for you.

jodi: Always love to hear from you. I hear you I'd also love it if more restaurants would have points on their menu.

I've been on SLD since November of 2005, I've lost 65 pounds.

http://ethesis.blogspot.com/2006/05/what-i-eat-on-shangri-la-diet.html

is what I eat, more or less, every day.

Some variety, I'm trying to learn how to vary what I eat, but ...

Hope that is clearer. Thanks for visiting.
